Musical project created by Trident Studios' sound engineer Robin Geoffrey Cable, who was trying to re-create Phil Spector's wall of sound. Queen were rehearsing songs from their first album at Trident Studios, and Geoffrey Cable asked Freddie Mercury to sing the lead vocals. Brian May and Roger Taylor were also involved and were paid as session musicians. The resulting recordings were eventually released in 1973 on a single credited to Larry Lurex (a spoof on Gary Glitter).
