The Four Jumps of Jive were a vocal/instrumental group founded in Chicago in 1942 and active until 1946. Members included Willie Dixon [bass], Gene Gilmore [lead vocal, piano], Bernardo Dennis, Ellis Hunter [electric guitar]. After the group disbanded, Dixon and Dennis joined Leonard "Baby Doo" Caston to form The Big Three Trio.
