Remarks:

1) There's hardly any evidence about the existence of this Paul Anka penned song, except on the Songwriters Hall Of Fame site: http://songwritershalloffame.org/index.php/songs/detailed/C146/P100/

2) Was Lesley Gore's version the original?! I've searched thoroughly for a Paul Anka (the songwriter) original, but could not find it.

The Allmusic site (not the most trustworthy source, I know) mentions the following in their album review: "Hello Young Lover" was a pretty snazzy Paul Anka cover, one that owed as much to blaring jazz-pop as rock. (http://www.allmusic.com/album/sings-of-mixed-up-hearts-r39220/review)

3) The song data on the original Lesley Gore album are a mess; on the album cover the song is called 'Hello Young Lover', while on the album label it is called 'Young lovers' (http://www.discogs.com/viewimages?release=1982915). I've opted for the first as the second is not correct.

4) Extra confusing in this regard is that Paul Anka released a cover of the song 'Hello, Young Lover' ( Hello, Young Lovers ), which is in the SHS database: Hello Young Lovers
