Adaptation -- non- credited?

Is this a case of plagiarism? I was looking for a cover of Gypsy Woman by Rick Nelson only to discover that Rick's is a different song (than the Impressions ). Then as I listened to it, even though I did not know Rick's song, it sounded so so familiar). I play a cd with this song very often, so please listen and tell me-- same song as Ricks, Gypsy Woman? To me, way too much similarity.

Just making sure: do you want to know if there is any similarity between the Rick Nelson song "Gypsy Woman" (I've added the video to make a comparison easier) and the "Mujer Magica" song by Julian Avalos and Afro-Andes ?!

I've listened to them both and there is indeed quite some similarity between the two...

oops-- I thought I had included the Rick Nelson one, hence the comparison. Yes, there is definitely a similarity too much in my opinion. My question is, is this not a clear case of plagiarism, to be listed among the many such cases. In the meantime, I looked here to add this: (once again I am not getting all the replies to my song coer post or such as this one.)
