Comments: Pianist and organist from Stockport. Jimmy Leach and his Organolians were regulars on BBC radio's "Music While You Work" programmes during the 1940s and 1950s. The Organolians' records sold well on the Columbia label where Jimmy began recording in 1939. More than 30 Columbia 78s have been listed issued from 1945 to 1953 (there were others issued during the war years). Vocalists are featured on some sides including Cyril Shane, Alan Dean, Johnny Johnston, Rita Williams, Leslie Douglas - and on occasion - Jimmy Leach himself.
