They were initially based in Vienna, Austria, but moved to the UK in the early part of their career. They were known for their arrangements of popular classics. The duo consisted of Marjan (or Maryan) Rawicz (1898 – 30 January 1970) and Walter Landauer (6 September 1909 – 3 August 1983)
