- Arranger, composer, music consultant and musician (guitar, violin, viola) from Dallas, Texas. In the early 1930s he moved to New York City where he was an arranger and guitarist for Andre Kostelanetz and Ray Bloch. Later he worked for the CBS radio network. After moving to Hollywood he became an arranger for several major motion-picture studios. In particular, he arranged the music for "The King and I" starring Yul Brynner.
