- Pioneering jazz band formed by brothers Bill and Ken Colyer. In the summer of 1951 part of the group left to join The Christie Brothers Stompers, co-led by trombonist Keith Christie and clarinetist Ian Christie. The band kept going until 1957; a reunion concert in 1972 led to the band's rebirth.
