- Singer, songwriter and guitarist from Oklahoma. He entered show business in 1927 providing comic relief to his brother Johnny's vaudeville performances. When Gene Autry went to New York in 1928 he met Frankie Marvin who became his best friend and mentor. After Gene became more well known, Frankie performed many times with him as a comedian and stunt man.
