Born in Pescara (Italy), moved to United Kingdom at 16 and after a few years of hard work in coal mines he managed to start a career as a singer. Later he was able to record for important record labels such as Columbia and Decca, moved to Hollywood where he continued his music career. He also appeared in some films in Italy in the 1960s. After retiring from the music business, opened a restaurant in Spain.
