- Band from from Andenne in the Walloon province of Namur originally formed in 1959 under the name "Freddy Gil". They changed their name to 'Les Serpents Noirs' in 1961 after Franklin 'Frankie' Charlier joined the band and in 1963 they recorded their first single. More than 50 years later the band still has an active Facebook page.
