Evangelist preacher and singer and a founding member of the pietistic Evangelical Mission Covenant Church fellowship. Hultman emigrated to the USA with his parents at the age of 8 and started preaching at the age of 18. Between 1906 and 1936, he repeatedly returned to Sweden to evangelize. There, he became popular for his gatherings and so called "solskenssånger" (sunshine songs). In order to be the only one cashing in on them, he in vain filed a law suit to prohibit others to record those. Died in his ample Glendale, CA, estate.
