- Vocal group formed out of the Jefferson High School in Los Angeles, in 1954 by Godoy Colbert (first tenor) and two friends, Robert Harris (second tenor) and Noel Collins (baritone). Richard Berry, a recent graduate from Jefferson, found out about this little group, and decided he wanted to use them for his new recordings on the Flip record label. The group was occasionally augmented by Gloria Jones.
