- Drummer, singer and bandleader active in the Los Angeles area beginning in the 1920s. Known as "the brown Paul Whiteman." In addition to playing clubs he also worked in Hollywood studios where he played drums for the soundtrack for "King Kong" (1933) and he appeared in "Alice Adams (RKO).
