- Composer of light music born in Sistrans in Tyrol. From 1939 onward he sings in a duo with his sister Albertine Seifert and later as the Winkler-trio with his wife Ingeborg added. After the war in 1947 the couple moved to Lochau, where Albertine lived. Later his daughter Olga joined what was then called the Franz-Winkler-Quartett.
