- Traditional jazz band from Bologna, led by Nardo Giardina. Initially known as "Superior Magistratus Ragtime Band", the group underwent several name changes, but their core members remained the same. Famous and respected in the jazz circuit, they are known for collaborating with many "amateur" and professional jazz players, such as film director Pupi Avati, television presenter Renzo Arbore and singer-songwriter Lucio Dalla. Their story was fictionalized by Avati in his 1978 TV movie "Jazz Band".
