Founded in 1968 by Dick Gibson at his sixth annual Jazz Party, the group was co-led by Yank Lawson and Bob Haggart Their repertoire consisted of standards and Dixieland versions of contemporary pop songs.
This group should not be confused with The Legendary Lawson-Haggart Jazz Band
