- Blind singer, multi-instrumentalist and songwriter of Cape Verdean descent crossing over between Blues, traditional Tuvan music and US Pop Rock. Pena was a master of throat singing and gained international fame by appearing in the Oscar-nominated documentary "Genghis Blues" (1999). He frequently toured with the Jerry Garcia Band and was also a side man for many Blues greats and artists like Bonnie Raitt.
