The Pinafores

Comments: Vocal trio from Glendale, California consisting of sisters Eunice Kettle (May 2, 1921 - July 29, 1967), Beulah Kettle (January 18, 1923 - August 28, 1983) and Ione Kettle (September 17, 1926 - April 3, 1995). They were also musicians: Eunice (guitar), Beulah (banjo) and Ione (bass). They were members of Rubye Whitaker and The Covered Wagon Girls before joining Gene Autry in 1946. They appeared regularly on his radio shows and his tours into the 1950s. Later in the 1950s they recorded under their own name.
