- Novelty swing vocal and instrumental group formed in Los Angeles. Members include Greg "Scamp" Moore, Hugh "Lumpy" Brannum (later known as Mr. Green Jeans), Jack Smith and Russ Black. They appeared in the 1937 film, "Swing It, Professor" and were heard on the network radio "Rudy Vallée Hour." In 1940 they joined Fred Waring's Pennsylvanians.
