- A 1960s girl group, who were a kind of counterpart to the Beach Boys; Beach Boy Brian Wilson served as their record producer and chief songwriter. The band name is a slang term for female surfing enthusiasts. The Honeys consisted of the sisters Marilyn and Diane Rovell, and their cousin Ginger Blake. Their career faded as surfing music went out of fashion.
