- Together with Manal and Los Gatos the founding group of Argentine rock is considered. In a 1985 survey conducted by Carlos Polimeni for the Clarín newspaper, in which musicians and journalists participated, his first album Almendra was considered by the vast majority as the best record in the history of Argentine rock. More recently, it has been considered by Rolling Stone magazine as the 6th best in Argentine rock, while its second album Almendra II was placed in the 40th position. Years active: 1967 – 1970. They met again between 1979 and 1981. In 2009 they played again for "Luis Alberto Spinetta y las bandas eternas" concert.
