Early swing band formed by composer Will Hudson and lyricist Eddie De Lange, which recorded more than 50 songs - many of them original compositions - for the Brunswick label. Much (but not all) of the time DeLange led the band and Hudson stayed behind the scenes. Although the band was successful, clashes of personalities between the two leaders led to its demise.
