Folk band trio formed in Halifax, Nova Scotia, and consisting of Denny Doherty, Pat LaCroix and Richard Byrne. Originally called The Colonials in 1960, then changed name to The Halifax Three in early 1963. Recorded two album and disbanded in 1965.
