- Sydney based baritone vocalist and radio announcer. Like Vernon Dalhart, Leonard was a recording pioneer who made country records in a 'citybilly" style. In 1919 he was a member of the Sydney-based J. C. Williamson Grand Opera Company. He also performed in vaudeville, stage revues, and comedies. He served as manager for Melbourne-based music publisher, Allan and Co.
