Roots rock and alt-country band put together in 1991 by Michael Hall and Alejandro Escovedo from Austin, TX, and Walter Salas-Humara from Los Angeles, CA. The band was formed in order to play a set at the Berlin Independence Days Festival. After this show, they were signed to a record deal with the German label Blue Million Miles Records and released their sole, self-titled album in 1992 (the record was released on Watermelon Records in the US). In 1996 the German Return to Sender label put out the album "Dark Ballad Trash", recorded live at the Quasimodo Club, Berlin, in fall 1991 during Berlin Independence Days.
