- Country duet from Middlesboro, Kentucky consisting of Monroe "Lige" Turner and his older brother Ulysses "Red" Turner. From the mid 1930s into the 1940s they appeared regularly on radio stations in Kentucky, Ohio, Tennessee, Florida and Kentucky. After they moved to Cincinnati in 1945 they joined the WLW Midwestern Hayride and later recorded for the local Radio Artist label. In 1950 Lige quit the music business and Red joined Zeke Turner to form "The Kentucky Boys."
