Comments
The Sons of the Pioneers were considered by many to be the greatest western singing group of all time. The group was founded in Los Angeles in late 1933 as a vocal trio consisting of Roy Rogers, Bob Nolan and Tim Spencer. Their first commercial recordings were made in August 1934 for Decca. By that time they added Hugh Farr on fiddle.
