- Country entertainer and radio personality born in Saint Mathias, Minnesota. In 1946 he took over the Lone Star Ranch in Reeds Ferry, New Hampshire. He operated this popular country music venue for 12 years. He continued to perform on stage and on radio in the Massachusetts/Vermont area for much of the rest of his life.
