- Vocalist and radio & television personality born in Scotland. He moved to Sydney, Australia when he was ten years old and he quickly began performing in children’s programs and amateur shows. By the late 1940s he was singing and recording with jazz performers. He lived for a while in New Zealand and the United States, returning to Australia in 1966.
