Comedian, singer, pianist and actor. Durante could also write music, although he was not known as a composer. Part of the Durante comedian routine was references to his bulbous nose as "the Schnozzola", which, along with "the Schnoozle", "the Great Schnozzola" or simply "the Schnooz" were nicknames under which Durante was known.
