Drummer born in Honduras and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He played with Benny Carter, Artie Shaw, Earl Bostic, Buck Clayton and Cab Calloway. In 1952 he joined Bill Doggett;s group and in 1956 he was a member of the band that produced the hit instrumental, Honky Tonk.
He was born around 1917 and married when he was 91 years old.
