Vocalist, trumpet and double bass player, trombonist, vibraphonist, drummer, vocal group leader and chorus master, recording supervisor and educator. He was born in Prague and as the leader of Sbor Lubomíra Pánka (Lubomír Pánek Singers), founded in 1959, he performed on more Czechoslovak recordings than anyone else.
