Twin pig string puppets, created by Czech immigrants Jan and Vlasta Dalibor, with their own children's show on UK television from 1957 to 1971 and music releases continuing into the mid-1970s. Their high-pitched voices were created by re-playing original recordings at twice the recorded speed, similar to The Chipmunks. Songs were performed by session singers Charles Young (Pinky) and Michael John (Perky), who accompanied a half-speed backing track. The characters were revived briefly in the 1990s and then again in 2008 as a CGI animation.
