- Jazz saxophonist and composer. Zilber grew up in Vancouver, moved to Boston in his late-teens, and then on to New York City; he is now based in San Francisco. Zilber has a doctorate from New York University and runs the jazz studies program for Los Medanos College in Pittsburg, California.
