Contralto singer and recording pioneer. Morgan mostly sang sentimental ballads and is best known for her duet recordings with Frank C. Stanley. Morgan is not known to have recorded after 1909, although she worked as a professional singer until at least 1919.
Some sources give her year of death as 1942.
