Whistler and one of a number of whistling acts, who were briefly popular in the early years of the recording industry. She recorded as early as 1917 for Columbia and also for Okeh, Edison & Victor, recording as late as 1924 before falling out of fashion. She was part of the whistling and bird imitation craze of the 1910s and 1920s.
Not to be confused with Sibyl Sanderson (1864-1903), the American operatic soprano during the Parisian Belle Époque.
