- Vocal group organized by Henrietta Myers in 1947 or 1948. Henrietta Myers was the wife of Rev. James A. Myers who was the leader of the Fisk Jubilee Singers until his death in 1928. Mrs. Myers took over leadership of this group upon his death. She was dismissed from that position by Fisk University officials in 1947. Consequently, Mrs. Myers formed the Famous Jubilee Singers who recorded for Pathé, Bullet and Kapp. In the 1950s this group toured Europe, Asia and South America.
