- Singer from Long Island, New York. In 1955 she was a winner on the Arthur Godfrey "Talent Scouts" television show and she later was a winner for seven consecutive weeks on the televised Dennis James' "Chance of a Lifetime" show. As a result she was signed to the Rama label in New York and, shortly afterward, to the Capitol label. Other television appearances included the Steve Allen's Tonight Show, Colgate Comedy Hour and the George Skinner daily variety program.
