Comments: A choirboy and son of an EMI executive who was given a record deal in 1973 and promoted as a junior superstar in the making to compete with the likes of Jimmy Osmond and Ricki Wilde. However, despite the heavy promotion, his record sales were disappointing and he was soon dropped from the label. He never got over the failure of his music career. After years of battling drugs and depression, he committed suicide a couple of months after his 30th birthday.
