Vocalist who first performed at age eight with her band leader father, Harry Davis. In 1939 she performed with Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grappelli and the Quintet of the Hot Club of France. In the 1940s she appeared with Grappelli's Swingtette which included George Shearing. She emigrated to the United States in January 1947 with the encouragement of Bob Hope. In the U.S. she appeared on network radio with Hope, Frank Sinatra, Benny Goodman, Vaughn Monroe and many others.
