Retro big band singer from Chesaning, Michigan. In the Spring of 2000, Pat Boone's The Gold Label sponsored "America's Next Great Crooner" competition, which DeHues won at age 16. His prize was a recording contract with The Gold Label. His parents, who encouraged DeHues' musical interests sang for Fred Waring and the Pennsylvanians in the early-1970s. DeHues biggest influence is Frank Sinatra.
