R&B singer, songwriter and sax player from Pennsylvania. By the mid 1950s he was professionally active in Philadelphia where he was managed by disc jockey, Kae Williams. He had a minor national hit with his recording of "There Goes That Train" in 1955. However, the Rollee McGill performance that far more people have heard is his sax solo on the massive hit, "Get a Job" by the Silhouettes.
