- Vaudevillian born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. From 1888 until 1896 he performed with Ned Monroe as the duo, Monroe and Mack. Subsequently he played comedy character parts for three seasons in "Town Topics" and a season in "Finnegan's Ball." He rejoined Monroe briefly before resuming his solo career again.
