Comments
The Clyde Valley Stompers started out as a semi-professional jazz band in Scotland in 1952 led by Jim McHarg. When McHarg left for Canada for the first time in 1954, Ian Menzies became the bandleader, which became a professional group. The group disbanded in 1963, but reunited thereafter for occasional concerts.
