Since a few years he hosts a weekly VPRO television show "Zondag met Lubach" (Sunday with Lubach) and received the coveted "Zilveren Nipkowschijf" (Silver Nipkow Disk, named after German television pioneer Paul Gottlieb Nipkow) . This is a Dutch television award that has been given out since 1961 by a selection of Dutch critics.
