Comments: Hawaiian singer-songwriter and entertainer. Of Scottish, Hawaiian and Chinese ancestry, Lee was born in Shanghai and moved to Hawaii with his father when he was five years old. Lee released only one album during his lifetime and wrote no more than 40 songs (many of them were popularized by his friend Don Ho), but is considered a key figure in Hawaiian pop music history.
