History
Based on the matrix number noted on the label of this single, this performance seems to have included (if not featured) Grady Martin on this unidentified performance --

Grady Martin earlier recorded fuzz tone guitar with his contribution to Marty Robbins' 1960 single 'Don't Worry', plus his 1961 single Tippin' In / The Fuzz.
One could guess that this single might have sold better to a certain audience under a pseudonym, but seeing Beauregard and The Tuffs never had any other releases maybe there was another reason for not releasing this performance under Grady Martin's name. Curiously, Grady Martin released Ramblin' Rose/Big Bad Guitar under his own name on EP and LP releases in Australia and New Zealand.

Whether they're the identical performances isn't currently clear, given the rarity of those releases.
