I own this LP compilation from an obscure label. There is no indication of release date or catalog number anywhere on the cover or on the disc ("2" is only because it's volume 2 of 3 compilations) I bought it in 2010. The MySpace link contains other songs of the same compilation, saying 2008.

Liner notes for this song : "Pounding version of the Zeb Turner classic with some serious echo fueled guitar and scorching break ! Recored (sic) in the late 60's in Chicago, Illinois."

...but I didn't find any performance of this song by Zeb Turner !

Besides, I didn't find much info about a band named "The Curiosities", but the liner notes of the LP indicate that some of the tracks were never officially released before.

Honestly, I'm really not sure of this one...

Have a look at this release;

It's part of the Seeburg Discotek Series.

http://www.45cat.com/label/seeburg-discotek-series-us

Seeburg is known for it's jukeboxes and they did produce their own music to fill the machines.

I'm not sure how these releases were used; were they only for use in the Seeburg Jukeboxes or were they sold to the general public as well ?!

Anyway, "The Curiosites" were more than likely just a studio outfit, not a real band.

I'll add this release later to the database.

Thanks for posting !
