The adaptation is Spanish rather than Portuguese. Trying to figure out if it is the same as the Spanish-language adaptation on the site already, Copacabana. What do you think?

Sorry, I thought I'd responded to this before: My language skills are not sufficient to determine "phonetically" if this is the same lyricist. I also did not find any verbal confirmation about lyricist Lisette (nor Buddy McCluskey, who is also listed as a Spanish translator).

To me both Lissette's Copacabana and En La Copa by Barry Manilow share the same spanish lyrics. Does it help?
I'm afraid it's confusing to me: The Manilow version's lyrics are credited to McCluskey, while Lissette is supposed to be her own lyricist.
The lyrics in Spanish correspond to Lissette's version. It is different from Barry Manillow's version.
